This was one interesting weekend... here we go, let me share the crazy-ness.
On Saturday before meeting up with my gal pals I went to cash my check at a local spot (direct deposit blah blah I know) anywho, the guy who takes care of me looked really familiar. I spark up a conversation, and at first he was hesitant to answer all my random questions because after all to him at this moment I was a stranger... and well...
When I was 14 I had returned to Santo Domingo for the 2nd summer in a row in the hopes to having some fun and enjoying myself away from NYC. It was the summer before I entered H.S. and I was starting to understand what being a female was all about. I had met a guy last summer who was older than me and was the cute good boy from the block... but he didn't pay me much mind.... but this year I was 14, and it was going to be different (haha)...anywho the summer went by and after coming back to nyc I lost touch with him. But this was the summer that catapulted me into what the world of boys was... and here we are today.
So the guy who is cashing my check... turns out to be my first boyfriend. YES. I haven't seen him in 9 years! could you believe that? I sure cant. He was baffled, he looked at me like I was crazy and then it registered. This was a great gift. I always wondered what happened to the first boy I kissed! ha.
I swear my life is one big NY Times best selling book waiting to happen... lol or maybe just one great story to tell to those who want to listen. But seriously, I seem to be meeting all sorts of random people specially men... at least me and my girlfriends get a kick out of it... thank god for Abel! (love ju man).
